1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, Dale Yacht Club will host their Dinghy Regatta and West Wales Dragon Series dinghy races on the waterway on the 11th August 2024.
1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, Dale Yacht Club will host their Dinghy Regatta and West Wales Dragon Series dinghy races on the waterway on the 11th August 2024.
2. All racing will start and finish in Dale Bay (approximate position 51°42'32"N 5°09'38"W) and extend from Watwick Point, East to Stack Fort, remaining North of the main navigation channel. Courses will be determined by the prevailing wind on the day.
3. Up to 40 dinghies and 6 safety boats are anticipated to be on the water during the event, along with the committee boat.
4. Racing will comprise of 2 races in each division starting at approximately 09:30 hrs. and 17:30 hrs. respectively.
5. Mariners are requested to pass wide and slow of the fleet, as most will be young sailors.
6. The committee boat will monitor VHF Channel 12.
