Survey Operations Sandy Haven Anchorage, Stack Rock Anchorage & behind South Hook LNG Terminal 24 June - 1 Sept

  1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that commencing on Saturday 24th June and continuing periodically until Friday 1st September 2023, drop-down camera survey operations will take place in the following areas:

    i.   Sandy Haven Anchorage
    ii.  Stack Rock Anchorage
    iii. Behind/North of South Hook LNG Terminal

  2. The area is bordered to the West by Stack Buoy (Fl.R.2.5s) approx. position 51°42.03’N 005°06.52’W and to the East by SML2 buoy (unlit) approx. position 51°41.98’N  005°04.15’W.
  3. The RIB, “NORTH SHORE”, will be used and will maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 12 at all times.
  4. Mariners are required to slow down, make minimum wash and navigate with caution giving the survey operations a wide berth.
  5. Admiralty charts 2878, 3273, 3274, 3275 and IMRAY Y26 and 2600 atlas refer.
  6. This Notice to Mariners will self-cancel at 23:59 on Friday 1st September 2023.
