MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, in accordance with IALA V103 training, Milford Haven VTS will use Standard Marine Communication Phrases (SMCP) message markers when in communication with vessels transiting within harbour limits.

1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, in accordance with IALA V103 training, Milford Haven VTS will use Standard Marine Communication Phrases (SMCP) message markers when in communication with vessels transiting within harbour limits.

2. There are eight such message markers as defined below:
Question; Answer; Request; Intention; Instruction; Information; Advice; Warning.

3. Mariners are reminded that other SMCP will be used by Milford Haven VTS when necessary.
