Oil Spill Pollution exercise on 9-10th September at Pembroke Dock and Milford Shelf.

  1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, MHPA, in connection with Ambipar and Williams Shipping, will be conducting an Oil Spill Response Exercise on the Milford Haven Waterway on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th September 2025.
  2. The exercise will involve an oil spill boom which will be deployed from the shore, manoeuvred, and recovered as part of the response training in the area of Pembroke Dock and the South West Martello Tower.
  3. Various craft are involved, and mariners are requested to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the exercise, maintaining a safe speed and giving a wide berth where possible to avoid any disruption.
