Diving operations by RIB ‘’Pedryn’’ for NRW’s annual SAC (Special Area of Conservation) monitoring project at various locations within the Milford Haven Waterway.
- MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, diving operations will take place at various locations within the Milford Haven Waterway between 27th August and 7th September 2025 (see attached image with marked operational areas).
- The Diving Operations will be carried out by the RIB ‘Pedryn’ as part of the SAC monitoring project led by NRW.
- The vessel will exhibit the prescribed shapes and lights in accordance with the International Regulations for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea, maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 12, and display Flag “ALPHA” whenever divers are in the water. Dive Supervisor to contact VTS on arrival at the different dive locations West of Cleddau bridge and confirm prior commencing and on completion off diving in each location.
- Mariners are requested to pass at slow speed, making minimum wash, and to always navigate with caution when operating in the area.
- Admiralty Charts 3274, 3275, IMRAY Y26, and 2600 Atlas refer.
- This Notice to Mariners will self-cancel at 23:59 on 7th Sept 2025.
