Drone Flights over the Cleddau River

On Friday 22nd March 2024 drone flights will take place over the River Cleddau between Carr Spit No.2 Buoy and Lawrenny Quay.

6. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, on Friday 22^nd March 2024 drone flights will take place over the River Cleddau between Carr Spit No.2 Buoy (approx. position 51° 42.11’N 004° 57.63’W) and Lawrenny Quay (approx. position 51° 43.14’N 004° 53.04’W). See chartlets one and two.
7. Drone operations will be conducted from both vessel and shoreside (approx. position 51° 42.33’N 004° 56.60’W (marked by the orange star on chartlet one)) take-off and landing.
8. For safety reasons, members of the public should remain outside of the 30m exclusion zones around any shoreside take-off and landing sites.
9. The drone flights will be conducted during daylight hours only.
10. Flights may be undertaken over moored vessels and vessels in transit.
