1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, ecological surveys will be carried out, in the area between the Southeast tail of Turbot Bank and Linney Head approx. positions 51°36.35’N 005°05.55’W and 51°39.15’N 005°06.70’W (see area marked in red on the attached chartlet) from Monday 5th February 2024 until Saturday 30th March 2024.
2. Survey equipment will include drop down cameras and grab sampling deployed aft of the survey vessels.
3. The vessels “ARGYLL EXPLORER” and “SEREN LASS” will be conducting the survey works. They will display the relevant lights and shapes as prescribed by the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea and at all times, maintain a listening watch on VHF channels 12 & 16.
4. Mariners are required to navigate with caution in these areas and pass clear of both survey vessels and equipment.
5. This notice will self-cancel at 2359 on Saturday 31st March 2024.
