Head of Property

Melanie Jenkins is the Head of Commercial Property at the Port of Milford Haven, leading with extensive experience and a passion for fostering strong tenant relationships. Mel started with us in 2009 and has been instrumental in shaping our commercial property strategies.

As Head of Property, Melanine is your primary contact for:

  • Managing new leases and lease renewals
  • Coordinating business relocations
  • Strategic planning for the property portfolio

 

She is dedicated to ensuring a seamless experience for our tenants, addressing their needs with a proactive approach. Melanie finds her role both challenging and rewarding, with no two days ever being the same in our dynamic team.

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Pembrokeshire's beautiful beaches, reading, and cooking.

Sharon Jenkins

Commercial Property Executive

Sharon Jenkins is a valuable member of our Commercial Property team, bringing a wealth of experience from her previous roles with Pembrokeshire County Council and Ateb.

As a Commercial Property Executive, Sharon is your primary contact for:

  • Providing information about the Port's property assets
  • Ensuring exceptional, high-quality service for tenants
  • Addressing tenant inquiries and meeting their needs

 

Sharon enjoys the diversity of the Port, finding that every day is a learning opportunity as she collaborates with the Estates team to provide the best service possible. She is always ready to assist clients, ensuring a positive and responsive experience.

Outside of work, Sharon loves exploring Pembrokeshire's stunning beaches, coastal paths, and charming country pubs.

Alice Wonnacott

Estates and Facilities Administration Assistant

Alice joined the Port of Milford Haven in January 2024 as an Estates and Facilities Administration Assistant, eager to expand her knowledge in Commercial Property. She thrives in her role, enjoying the opportunity to learn new skills every day and connect with new people.

As a Estates and Facilities Administration Assistant, Alice is your primary contact for:

  • Handling tenant inquiries and concerns
  • Coordinating with the Estates and Maintenance teams for prompt service
  • Facilitating property access to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensuring that all works proceed efficiently, prioritising tenant needs

 

Alice is always ready to assist clients and tenants with their queries, ensuring a positive experience.

Outside of work, Alice loves exploring Pembrokeshire’s beautiful beaches and scenic walks.

Dafydd Picton
Dafydd Picton
Estates and Facilities Administration Assistant

Dafydd Picton joined the Port of Milford Haven in the summer of 2024 as a seasonal events assistant. Shortly before completing his seasonal role, he was thrilled to accept a temporary position as an Estates and Facilities Admin Assistant, where he actively supports the estates team with various duties and administrative tasks.

As an Estates and Facilities Admin Assistant, Dafydd is your primary contact for:

  • Handling tenant inquiries and concerns
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team
  • Coordinating property access for essential work

 

Dafydd is dedicated to providing excellent support and ensuring that tenant needs are met promptly. Outside of work, he enjoys the TV show Benidorm, indulging in calamari, and listening to music by The Killers.

Louise Harries
Louise Harries
Estates & Asset Surveyor

Louise has over 25 years of work experience in the Built Environment, which incorporates the fields of construction, land and property. She is dedicated to preserving the history and historic buildings of the local area while supporting innovative projects that foster growth and opportunities in Pembrokeshire.

Louise joined the Port of Milford Haven in 2018 and holds an array of professional property qualifications. She is enthusiastic about using her property expertise to support the Team improve the delivery of professional property services for the benefit of customers and the wider community.

As the Estate and Asset Surveyor, Louise is your primary contact for:

  • Professional property advice on Leasing, Letting and Landlord & Tenant matters
  • Inspections and measurements of Property
  • Property Management and Regulatory Compliance in Buildings  
  • Management of surveying services for maintenance and strategic development

 

Outside of work, Louise loves the beaches of Pembrokeshire, and is an avid traveller with a fondness for Italian cuisine.

 

Amanda Mason
Amanda Mason
Legal Support Assistant

Amanda supports The Head of Commercial Property with all legal agreements, Leases & licences and maintains the property management system.

Working in conjunction to the Commercial Property Executive for pre-let legal compliance and to support with queries and concerns from Tenants.

Amanda joined MHPA as a temp in 2017, setting up the Financial Management Information System (FMIS) and then as a temporary Admin assistant with Quayside Properties securing a permanent position within the team later that year.

As a Legal Support Assistant, Amanda is your primary contact for:

  • Commercial Property legal agreements
  • Leases & licences

Outside of work Amanda enjoys travelling with her Husband in their self-built campervan around the UK.
