On Saturday 1st July 2023 a flotilla event involving small recreational craft will take place in the Pembroke River.
1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, on Saturday 1st July 2023 a flotilla event involving small recreational craft will take place in the Pembroke River.
2. Craft will gather in Crow Pool (approximate position 51o 41’.5 North, 04o 58’.63 West) at approximately 15:00hrs to proceed upriver to Pembroke Castle Pond.
3. All craft will be exiting Castle Pond at 18:25hrs to proceed downriver.
4. Mariners are reminded that Pembroke River is a designated Dead Slow, Minimum Wake area.
5. Mariners are requested to exercise caution in the vicinity of Pennar Gut around these times when small craft may be entering or leaving.
6. The Lead Vessel, call sign “Rally Control” will escort the flotilla and monitor VHF Channel 72 while in the Pembroke River but VHF Channel 12 at all other times.
