Paddle Steamer “WAVERLEY” is scheduled to call at Milford Docks
1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, the Paddle Steamer “WAVERLEY” is scheduled to call at Milford Docks, berthing in the Seaward Side of the Lock Pit on the evening of Saturday 17th June (2100-2200hrs) and on Sunday 18th June on the following time: 0930 – 1100hrs, 1600-1730hrs and 2100-2200hrs.
2. Due to construction of the vessel, she will approach and depart Milford Lock Pits direct from “Milford Shelf
Buoy” (Approx. position 51o 42’12.5 N; 005o 01’40.6 W) rather than usual Dock channel. Please see Chart here
3. Please be advised that “Waverley” is restricted in her ability to manoeuvre All vessels to be aware and keep clear.
4. Shortly before her arrival the outer lock gates will be secured open and there will be no access to or from Milford Lock or Milford Docks for all other vessels during these times.
5. Overnight (2200/17-0930/18) vessel will be moored on East Angle Tug mooring, (in approx. position 51o 41’44.1 N; 005o 03’51.5 W) with a short mooring strop to minimise swing on the tide.
