MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, a DINGHY SAILING regatta will take place in Milford Haven Waterway on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May 2023.
1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, a DINGHY SAILING regatta will take place in Milford Haven Waterway on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May 2023.
2. Saturday racing will start at Neyland Yacht Club (approximate position 51˚ 42’54” N, 004˚ 56’ 54” W); with the first race heading upstream to Lawrenny and return, the second race to 5A Buoy (approximate position 51˚ 41’53” N, 005˚ 01’ 07” W) and return.
3. Sunday racing will be conducted south of the main channel in the Pennar Flats area (approximate position 51°41'41"N 4°58'07"W).
4. Approximately 15 Dinghies will be taking part.
5. Racing will start around 10:30 hrs. and finish around 15:30 hrs.
6. The committee boat will monitor VHF Channel 12 at all times and participating dinghies will not impede the passage of commercial traffic.
