The Paddle Steamer “WAVERLEY” is scheduled to call at Milford Docks, berthing on the Seaward Side of the Lock Pit on Monday 2nd June and on Tuesday 24th June.
- MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that the Paddle Steamer “WAVERLEY” is scheduled to call at Milford Docks, berthing on the Seaward Side of the Lock Pit on Monday 2nd June (1400-1530hrs) and (2030-2145hrs), also on Tuesday 24th June (2030 – 2115hrs).
- Due to the construction of the vessel, she will approach and depart Milford Lock Pits direct from “Milford Shelf Buoy” (Approx. position 51 ° 42’12.5 N; 005 ° 01’40.6 W) rather than the usual Dock channel. (See chartlet.)

- Shortly before her arrival the outer lock gates will be secured open and there will be no access to or from Milford Lock or Milford Docks whilst the Waverley manoeuvres. Once the vessel is secure in the Lock pits then access will be controlled by “Milford Pierhead” (Ch14).
- Mariners are required to navigate with caution in these areas whilst operations are taking place and to pass by with minimum wake.
