White Flashing Light Thorn Island

Flashing white light at Thorn Island is a faulty floodlight.

1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, what appears to be a flashing white navigation light on the landing at Thorn Island, approx. position 51°41.52’N 005°02.27’W, is in fact a faulty floodlight.
2. Mariners are required to navigate with caution in the area.
3. Admiralty charts 2878 & 3274 and Imray Y26 & 2600 ATLAS refer.
4. A further notice will be promulgated when the light on the landing has been repaired.
