- MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that between Monday 6th and Friday 10th February 2023, survey operations will be taking place in West Angle Bay and throughout the East Channel.
- The survey work will be carried out by the survey vessel COASTAL OBSERVER which will be towing side-scan sonar and benthic grab equipment. The International Code of Signals shapes and lights for vessel restricted in their ability to manoeuvre will be displayed at all times when conducting survey operations and COASTAL OBSERVER will maintain a listening watch on VHF channel 12 .
- Mariners are required to slow down, make minimum wash and navigate with caution giving the survey operations a wide berth.
- Admiralty charts 3273 & 3274 and IMRAY Y26 and 2600 Atlas refer.
- This Notice to Mariners will self-cancel at 2359hrs on Friday 10th February 2023.
