Tidal Turbine to be deployed in Warrior Way META Site from 10th Feb 2023 to 1st April 2023
1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that work will be undertaken at the META Warrior Way site to install and test a 8m x 6m floating platform and associated tidal turbine between 10th February and 1st April.
2. During the test period the device will occasionally be recovered to shore for optimisation and then redeployed. The moorings will remain on site during these times.
3. Mooring equipment will be clearly marked with yellow marker buoys and the floating platform marked with a yellow day cross mark and lit with IALA compliant light FL(5)Y.20s.
4. 4 ADCPS will be deployed on the seabed within the floating platform mooring spread permitter. They will be <1m above the seabed and do not have risers or top marks and will be recovered via an acoustic release system.
