Diving operations by RHIB ‘’PEDRYN

Diving operations by RHIB ‘’PEDRYN’’ for NRW’s annual SAC (Special Area of Conservation) monitoring project at various locations within the Milford Haven Waterway.

• MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED  that, diving operations will take place at various locations within the Milford Haven Waterway between 20th August and 9th September 2026 (see attached with marked operational areas).
• The diving operations will be carried out by RHIB PEDRYN as part of the SAC Monitoring project led by NRW.
• The  vessel will exhibit the prescribed shapes and lights in accordance with the International Regulations for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea, maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 12, and display Flag “ALPHA” whenever divers are in the water. Dive Supervisor to contact VTS on arrival at the different dive locations West of Cleddau bridge and confirm prior commencing and on completion off diving in each location. 
• Mariners  are required to pass at slow speed. Making minimum wash, and to always navigate with caution when operating in the dive locations.
• Admiralty Charts 3274, 3275 and IMRAY 2600.11 refer.
• This notice will self-cancel at 23:59 on Wednesday 9^th September 2026.
