From Monday 1st September 2025, for approximately 3 weeks, plough dredging will be undertaken at Valero berths 1,2,3,5,6,7 between the hours of 06:00 and 20:00.

  1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, from Monday 1st September 2025, for approximately 3 weeks, plough dredging will be undertaken at Valero berths 1,2,3,5,6,7 between the hours of 06:00 and 20:00.
  2. The Work Boat “FORTH TROJAN” will be towing a plough dredger along the seabed.  She will be showing the day shapes and/or lights as per the appropriate regulations and maintaining listening watch on VHF12.
  3. The work is being completed within Valero’s berth boxes, ploughing out from the berths at slow speed, therefore, due to the nature of the work, may appear without warning from behind the berthing line.
  4. Mariners are required to give “FORTH TROJAN” a wide berth and to navigate with caution when in the area.
