Bangor University will conduct intertidal seagrass area surveys and sampling in the areas designated by the attached images from 31st July to 3rd August 2026.

  1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, Bangor University will be carrying out intertidal seagrass area surveys and sampling in the areas contained in the below images from 31st July to 3rd August 2026 (see image with marked operational area at the end of the notice).
  2. A snorkel survey will be undertaken in all areas designated subject to suitable tide and weather conditions. Work will mainly take place during low tide.
  3. Mariners are requested to navigate with caution and pass at a safe speed when operating in these areas.

  4. Admiralty Charts 3274, 3275, IMRAY Y26, and 2600 Atlas refer.

  5. This Notice to Mariners will self-cancel at 23:59 on 3rd August 2026.
