On Sunday 3rd August 2025 a rowing regatta will be held in the area of Black Tar.
1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that on Sunday 3rd August 2025 a rowing regatta will be held in the area of Black Tar.
2. The races will start and finish at Black Tar, It is anticipated there will be a maximum of 15 boats in each race. The approximate start and finish times will be 11:00 and 15:00 hours respectively.
3. Safety Boats and race control will monitor VHF 12.
4. Mariners are requested to navigate with caution in the areas and give the rowing craft a wide berth, mariners are further reminded of the Dead Slow Minimum Wake requirements in this area.
