From Tuesday 1st July to Wednesday 16th July, a programme of benthic grab sample surveys will take place within Port Limits and the surrounding coastal waters.
- MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, from Tuesday 1st July for approximately 2 weeks, a programme of benthic grab sample surveys will take place within Port Limits and the surrounding coastal waters.
- Sampling will be conducted inside Port Limits in the vicinity of Turbot Bank approximate position 51°37.50'N 005°08.20'W.
- The survey vessel SEVERN GUARDIAN will conduct the sampling activities and will monitor VHF channel 12 at all times when operating within port limits.
- Sampling activities will also be conducted outside port limits in the areas below:
- The Knoll approximate location 51°42.75'N 005°17.50'W.
- St Brides Bay approximate location 51°49.00'N 005°12.00'W.
- Bais Bank approximate location 51°57.00'N 005°22.00'W.
- Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of SEVERN GUARDIAN during sampling operations.
