Planned drone flight utilising a MHPA pilot boat running along Milford Haven Waterway from area in the vicinity of Thorn Rock to Wear Spit and also the Port Authority Jetty including MHPA Gorsewood Drive Offices and VTS Centre.

  1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, on Friday 24th April 2026 there is planned to be a drone flight and aerial filming over the main waterway from the vicinity of the Thorn Rock Buoy to Wear Spit. The drone will be being flown from a Milford Haven Pilot Boat, probably the Llanion (see chartlet below), primarily following the main waterway but flights may also include the Port Authority Jetty complex and the MHPA Gorsewood Drive Offices and VTS Centre.

  2. The flights will be conducted during daylight hours only, commencing 0600hrs till 1000hrs.
  3. No flights will be undertaken over moored vessels and the drone will remain clear of all shipping in transit.
