Ferry Terminal

Annually, the Ferry Terminal handles 62,000 Ro-Ro units and 325,000 passengers for Irish Ferries. It sees two daily crossings to Rosslare, Ireland, on the Isle of Inishmore which is one of Europe’s largest, well equipped, and most modern car ferries. The Terminal has a fast turnaround and excellent service. Onsite facilities include:

Ro-Ro Berth

The purpose built Ro-Ro Terminal provides comprehensive modern ferry terminal facilities. The berth has a two-tier loading capability and can accommodate vessels of up to 150 metres in length, with a draft of up to 6 metres

Passenger Terminal

Incorporates a ticket office, refreshment facility and Tourist Information centre

Freight Yard

Includes specialist freight handling equipment and expertise for unaccompanied trailer traffic. The area of the port also has 24 hour security systems in place

Port Security

All operations at the port are handled in line with the International Ship and Port Security regulations
