Notice to Mariner No. 31 of 2010 - DIVING OPERATIONS ATSOUTH HOOK LNG JETTY

1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that commencing on or about Friday 5th March 2010, diving operations will take place at the South Hook LNG jetty.  (Approx position 51º42'.0N 005 º04'.8W).

2. Mariners are required to pass the jetty and jetty legs at slow speed and navigate with caution at all times in the area especially if navigating near the Small Boat Passage.

3. Divers will work all along the access trestle and on both sides of the berth face.

4. Dive support vessel ‘Overdale' will attend the divers and will monitor VHF ch 12 at all times.

5. For the whereabouts of Overdale, call Port Control on 01646 696137 or VHF ch 12.

6. Works are expected to take 10 days and a further Notice to Mariners will be promulgated at that time.
