NOTICE TO MARINERS

NO. 26 OF 2010

WORKS TO HAKIN PIER

1. MARINERS ARE HEREBY ADVISED that, on or about 11th February 2010, works will commence on Hakin Pier (approximate position 51º42.'5 N 005º 02'.4W).

2. The steel steps on the East side will be removed and the East side will be shuttered and concrete works will follow.  New stairs will then be installed.

3. The Pier is not to be used during the period of the works as it will be fenced off.  A warning notice will be posted.

4. Works are expected to take 16 weeks.  A further Notice to Mariners will be issued when Hakin Pier is available for use again.
    
5. Admiralty chart 3274 and 3275 and Imray C2600.11 refer.
