As a Trust Port, Milford Haven Port Authority is committed to re-investing its profits to benefit local communities.  The Community Investment Programme focuses on supporting and enabling projects that generate economic activity, employment and recreational opportunities around the Haven Waterway. 

The work of the Authority's Community team is varied and is diverse in its level of interaction, from provision of contacts to development of an idea into a sustainable project.
 
The team provides assistance in a number of ways.  They:

• assist voluntary and community organisations in setting up and developing projects, events and profile raising
• act as an advice and signposting agency for grant funding
• are a catalyst for networking between new and existing groups and organisations
