Pembroke Port and Ferry Terminal - A successful West Coast Port and Ferry Terminal
Pembroke Port, situated on the southern side of the Waterway, is rapidly becoming one of the most successful ports on the West Coast. Its reputation for accommodating extraordinary vessels and projects in often tightly scheduled circumstances has been instrumental to the port's ongoing success.
Lightly trafficked exit roads skirt the town centre of Pembroke Dock, leading straight onto the A477 trunk road which connects to the M4 - one of the quickest and easiest routes from the West coast to the hub of the UK motorway network.
Recent activity at the Port has been characterised by the continued support for the various LNG-related construction works, with the main contractor for South Hook utilising the Ports facilities for the trans-shipment of equipment and another major contractor also setting up their Jetty pre-cast yard within the Port. Quayside sand facilities have been fully utilised and the Port's lorry fleet has also been in constant use, supplying a high local demand.
The Ferry Terminal which is currently used by Irish Ferries for their twice daily sailing to Rosslare, is established as one of the main UK-Ireland connections.
Port facilities include:

Spacious facilities away from the quays, but within the port, regularly accommodate sand, timber and fertilizer imports

- Cargo shed - provides 2024 sqm of modern warehouse/industrial storage space and is often used for the storage and handling of pre-packed grit-blast
